Dear All,

We are currently hiring for a Manager-Instructional Designer position in the Department of the Center for Digital Learning at MIT World Peace University, located in Kothrud, Pune.

The candidate should be Instructional Design Certified, in addition to their regular qualification.

Job Purpose

As an Instructional Designer for the foundation course, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the

educational experience of undergraduate students. Your primary responsibility is to design,

develop, and enhance the curriculum, learning materials, and assessments for this critical stage

of students' academic journey. By leveraging your expertise in instructional design and your

creative approach to education, you will contribute to the overall success and satisfaction of our

students as they begin their higher education journey.

3. Key Accountability

Curriculum Development:

Collaborate with academic experts to create a cohesive and structured curriculum that

aligns with the course's learning objectives.

Continuously review and update the curriculum to ensure it remains relevant and engaging

for students.

Content Creation:

Develop a variety of engaging and interactive learning materials, including multimedia

content, written materials, and activities.

Ensure that all content is pedagogically sound and suitable for the target audience.

Assessment Design:

Create both formative and summative assessments that accurately measure student

understanding and progress.

Regularly evaluate and revise assessments to maintain their effectiveness.

Learning Experience Enhancement:

Identify opportunities for improving the overall learning experience, such as the

incorporation of new technologies or teaching methodologies.

Implement enhancements based on feedback and educational research.

Technology Integration:

Explore and recommend innovative educational technologies and tools that can enhance

the course's delivery and impact.

Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in educational technology.

4. Person Specification



Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field (Master's degree

preferred).

Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or related roles, with 5 to 8 years

years of experience.
