- Assess training requirements through surveys, interviews, job analysis, and close collaboration with Subject Matter Experts.
- Translate complex construction and technology concepts into structured, easy-to-understand learning journeys.
- Design role-based and process-based training programs for new joiners and experienced teams.
Technical Training Delivery
- Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions across construction processes and technology workflows.
- Train teams on construction engineering, design coordination, model authoring, shop drawing generation, model-based clash coordination, quantification, 4D sequencing, procurement, information management, and project controls.
- Enable effective use of VDC and BIM tools such as Revit, Navisworks, Tekla, Bluebeam Revu, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Create engaging learning experiences that support real project application.
Content Development and Knowledge Capture

- Continuously refine training materials based on feedback and evolving project needs.
Learning Effectiveness and Continuous Improvement
- Provide post-training support to reinforce learning and answer ongoing questions.
- Track learner progress and training outcomes.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and update content as required.
- Stay current with emerging construction technologies, tools, and industry trends.
- Adapt training offerings to keep pace with changes in processes, software, and delivery models.
A day in this role
The day begins by reviewing upcoming training sessions, learner progress, and feedback from recent programs. You connect with SMEs to refine content or clarify technical details. Training sessions follow, either in person or virtual, where you guide teams through construction processes, drawings, or BIM workflows. Between sessions, you work on updating learning materials, designing interactive exercises, or analyzing training effectiveness. You support learners post-training by answering questions and helping them apply concepts on live projects.
The day closes with planning upcoming programs and identifying opportunities to improve how learning supports execution.
What You Should Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- 5 or more years of experience on construction projects, with at least 2 years in a training or teaching role.
- Strong understanding of construction processes across bidding, preconstruction, construction, closeout, and handover.
- Ability to read, interpret, and explain construction drawings across architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection disciplines.
- Hands-on experience with BIM and VDC tools such as Revit, Navisworks, Tekla, Bluebeam Revu, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Strong instructional and facilitation skills with the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience working with SMEs and diverse learner groups.
- Familiarity with modern learning tools and e-learning platforms.
What Will Make Your Application Stand Out
- You can simplify complex construction and technology concepts without losing accuracy.
- You enjoy teaching and feel energized by helping others grow and perform better.
- You create interactive, engaging sessions rather than one-way training.
- You connect learning outcomes directly to project performance and quality.
- You are curious about new tools, construction technologies, and digital workflows.
- You adapt quickly to changing requirements and fast-moving environments.
- You are confident leading workshops and speaking to large groups.
- You balance structure with flexibility and know when to go deep or keep it practical.
