Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Educational Counsellor located in Pune Division. The Educational Counsellor will provide guidance to students regarding academic opportunities, career paths, and skills development. Responsibilities include understanding student aspirations, conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, offering actionable advice on career opportunities, and serving as a liaison between students and institutional resources. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of educational programs and being an advocate for students' academic and career success.
Qualifications
Experience in Educational Consulting and Student Counseling to understand and guide students effectively.
Proficiency in Career Counseling to assess students' goals and provide career advice tailored to their aspirations.
Strong Communication skills to engage with students, parents, and institutional representatives effectively.
Knowledge or background in Education, particularly in academic programs, career pathways, and industry connections.
Empathy, active listening skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of an educational team.
Proven ability to handle sensitive discussions with discretion and maintain professional relationships.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in maintaining and managing records of student interactions and counseling sessions is advantageous.
