Academic Counsellor

Description   The Academic Counsellor will play a crucial role in supporting students in their academic journey by providing guidance on course selection, academic policies, and personal development.

Responsibilities    Provide academic guidance and support to students in selecting courses and planning their academic paths.
Assist students in understanding academic policies and procedures.
Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions to address students' concerns and academic challenges.
Collaborate with faculty and administration to enhance the academic experience for students.
Organize workshops and seminars to promote academic skills and personal development.
Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress.

Skills and Qualifications    Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in academic counselling or a related role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and faculty.
Proficiency in using educational software and databases.
Knowledge of academic programs and career options available to students.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality.
