Admission Counsellor

About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and empathetic Admission Counsellor to guide prospective students through the enrollment process. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-first approach, and the ability to convert inquiries into successful admissions.
Key Responsibilities:
Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, career paths, and program benefits
Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and inquiries from various channels
Understand candidate needs and recommend suitable programs
Follow up with leads and convert them into enrollments
Maintain accurate records of interactions and update CRM regularly
Coordinate with internal teams such as marketing, academic, and operations
Conduct virtual or in-person counselling sessions
Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in any field
1–5 years of experience in admissions, counselling, sales, or Ed Tech
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities
Ability to handle objections and close admissions
Basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office
Customer-focused with a positive and patient attitude
Preferred Background:
Experience in EdTech, education counselling, or training institutes
Exposure to career counselling or student advisory roles
