Role Description  This is a full-time, on-site position for Primary and Pre-Primary Teachers at KIS Kharadi, Pune. The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and holistic learning philosophy.
Teachers will be responsible for designing age-appropriate learning experiences that support language development, cognitive growth, social-emotional skills, and overall student well-being.

Key responsibilities include:

Monitoring and assessing student progress
Maintaining accurate classroom records
Preparing instructional materials and lesson plans
Communicating effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Additionally, teachers are expected to actively participate in school events, co-curricular activities, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development programs to continuously enhance teaching practices.

Qualifications   Strong foundation in Teaching and Elementary Education, with experience in primary and/or pre-primary settings
Proven skills in curriculum development and the ability to design engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues in a diverse environment
Relevant educational qualifications, such as a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field; teaching certifications or specialized early years training will be an added advantage
Demonstrated classroom management skills, patience, and a child-centric approach that fosters a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Ability to integrate arts, play-based learning, and experiential teaching methods into the curriculum
Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and collaborate within a team-oriented culture
