Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Academic Coordinator at Kothari International School, Kharadi, Pune. The Academic Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing curriculum implementation, ensuring alignment with the school’s academic standards, and supporting educators in delivering high-quality instruction.
Key responsibilities include coordinating and scheduling assessments, monitoring academic progress, and analyzing student performance data to enable targeted interventions. The role requires close collaboration with teachers, school leadership, and parents to address academic needs, promote effective teaching practices, and maintain a supportive learning environment.
Additionally, the Academic Coordinator will organize academic events, facilitate faculty professional development initiatives, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of academic policies, processes, and overall institutional effectiveness.
Qualifications Strong foundation in Education, with proven experience in academic coordination or teaching within a school environment
Proficiency in curriculum development, including designing, implementing, and evaluating academic programs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and school leadership
Experience in academic advising and student support, including planning and implementing targeted interventions
Ability to conduct and apply research to enhance teaching practices, curriculum effectiveness, and student learning outcomes
Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field; teacher training or exposure to international curricula will be an added advantage
Strong organizational, time management, and documentation skills, with keen attention to detail and academic compliance
Proficiency in educational technology, learning management systems, and data-driven decision-making
Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, learner-centered education and holistic student development
