Role Description  This is a full-time, on-site Principal role for a CBSE school located in the Pune Division. The Principal will provide academic and administrative leadership, ensuring alignment with CBSE standards, the school’s vision, and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include overseeing curriculum implementation, monitoring teaching quality, and driving student achievement through data-informed academic planning. The Principal will manage and mentor teaching and non-teaching staff, lead performance reviews, and coordinate ongoing professional development.

The role also involves engaging with parents and the wider community, overseeing admissions, enforcing discipline and child protection policies, managing budgets and resources, and ensuring that health, safety, and operational procedures are followed consistently.
Qualifications
Proven leadership experience in a CBSE or similar K–12 school, preferably as Principal, Vice Principal, or Head of School.
Strong academic administration skills, including curriculum planning, assessment oversight, and school improvement planning.
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and mentor diverse academic and support teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for collaborating with learners, families, staff, and external authorities.
Solid understanding of CBSE regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices in school operations.
Commitment to child protection, inclusive education, and a safe, supportive school environment.
Master’s degree in Education or a related field, along with

B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (CBSE-compliant credentials preferred).

Experience with co-curricular and extra-curricular program development and student well-being initiatives.
Comfort with using educational technology and data systems for teaching, learning, and school administration.
Ability to work on-site in the Pune Division and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced, results-focused environment.
