Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art & Craft Teacher to inspire students and develop their artistic skills. The candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging art lessons, encouraging creativity, and fostering an appreciation for visual arts and crafts among students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct art and craft lessons for students as per the curriculum.
- Teach various art techniques, including drawing, painting, sketching, and handicrafts.
- Encourage creativity, imagination, and self-expression among students.
- Prepare lesson plans, activities, and teaching materials.
- Organise art exhibitions, competitions, and school displays.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain discipline and ensure a positive classroom environment.
- Manage and maintain art supplies and classroom resources.
- Collaborate with other teachers for interdisciplinary activities and school events.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or relevant field (BFA/Art Education preferred).
- Prior teaching experience in a school setting is an advantage.
- Strong creative, artistic, and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students of different age groups.
- Patience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching.
Additional Expectations:
- Participation in school events, workshops, and extracurricular activities.
- Ensure safety and proper usage of art materials.
- Stay updated with new art techniques and teaching methods.
