We are seeking a Senior Technical Artist with a strong foundation in mobile game development to bridge the gap between art and engineering. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing assets, building scalable art pipelines, and ensuring the highest visual quality and performance across mobile platforms.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain efficient art pipelines specific to mobile platforms.
Collaborate closely with artists, engineers, and designers to integrate assets into the game.
Optimize 2D/3D assets for performance and memory constraints of mobile devices.
Develop tools and scripts to automate and streamline asset workflows.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance or visual issues across different devices.
Provide technical guidance to artists regarding best practices and limitations.
Experience & Skills Required
5+ years of experience in the gaming industry, with a focus on mobile games.
Strong proficiency with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
Experience with scripting languages (Python, C#, or equivalent).
Hands-on experience with DCC tools like Maya, Blender, or Photoshop.
Solid understanding of real-time rendering, asset optimization, and GPU/CPU performance profiling.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work in cross-disciplinary teams
