About The Opportunity
A multi-speciality acute-care and outpatient healthcare provider operating in the Pune/Talegaon, Maharashtra region is scaling operations and expanding service lines. We are hiring a senior operational leader to drive clinical excellence, financial performance, and regulatory compliance for an on-site hospital campus.
Role & Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day hospital operations across clinical and non-clinical functions to ensure efficient patient flow, high-quality care, and superior patient experience.
Own P&L responsibility: set budgets, monitor financial performance, implement cost controls, and drive revenue-growth initiatives across IPD/OPD, diagnostics, and allied services.
Implement and optimise EMR/HIS workflows, capacity planning, and operational SOPs to reduce wait-times, increase bed-turnover and improve throughput.
Ensure clinical governance, quality assurance and patient‑safety programmes; prepare and lead accreditation (NABH/NABL) and regulatory audits to maintain compliance.
Drive revenue cycle improvements — billing accuracy, denials management, insurance partnerships and collection processes to maximise cash flow.
Build and mentor multidisciplinary teams, manage vendor and partner relationships, and lead change-management for service expansion and operational transformation.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
Proven leadership in multi-speciality hospital operations with direct P&L accountability.
Demonstrated experience with EMR/HIS implementation and process optimisation.
Track record in revenue cycle management, billing, and insurance liaison.
Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality & patient safety frameworks.
Familiarity with NABH/NABL accreditation processes and healthcare regulatory compliance.
Experience managing vendor contracts, procurement, and operational supply chains.
Preferred
Previous COO/VP Operations role within a multi-speciality hospital or healthcare network.
Formal training in hospital administration, healthcare management or MBA (healthcare advantage).
Experience leading greenfield projects, capacity expansion or service-line launches.
