Job Title-Business Analyst – Prompt Engineering (Microsoft 365 Copilot)

Location-Pune / Bengaluru

Experience-7–12 years (relevant experience in Business Analysis, Copilot, and Prompt Engineering)

Key Responsibilities:

Prompt Engineering & Copilot Enablement

- Design, test, and optimize Microsoft 365 Copilot prompts using the GCSE framework and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain a reusable prompt library with templates, examples, and usage guidelines.
- Evaluate prompt effectiveness and continuously optimize for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Stay current with Copilot feature updates and integrate new capabilities into prompt strategies.

Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement

- Collaborate with business users to identify, capture, and document Copilot use cases across functions.
- Translate business workflows and requirements into effective Copilot prompt solutions.
- Engage stakeholders at varying levels of Copilot maturity to align solutions with business objectives.
- Gather feedback from users and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Training, Adoption & Governance

- Deliver Copilot prompt training sessions for different user personas and skill levels.
- Conduct demos showcasing Copilot capabilities and real-world enterprise scenarios.
- Develop enablement materials, best-practice guides, and documentation.
- Partner with IT, Security, and Compliance teams to ensure prompt governance, data privacy, and risk mitigation.
- Track adoption metrics and success indicators to measure Copilot impact.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Must-Have

- Strong experience as a Functional Business Analyst with stakeholder management and requirement gathering.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot across Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and Viva.
- Solid understanding of prompt engineering principles and frameworks (GCSE or equivalent).
- Experience delivering training, workshops, and demo sessions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in agile environments and adapt to rapidly evolving technologies.

Good-to-Have / Preferred

- Experience with Copilot Studio for custom prompt development.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Graph API and connectors.
- Exposure to Power Platform projects (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Understanding of compliance, governance, and security considerations in enterprise AI usage.
- Familiarity with analytics and reporting to measure adoption and usage trends.
