Senior Data Engineer

About Position:

We are looking for an experienced Azure Databricks and Snowflake Data Engineer to lead and execute complex user migrations from legacy systems to modern cloud-based solutions. This role involves collaborating closely with customers and system integrators to design robust migration strategies and ensure seamless transitions with minimal disruption.

What You'll Do:

- Design comprehensive migration plans tailored to customer needs and architecture.
- Lead the migration process from legacy systems to Azure Databricks and Snowflake.
- Collaborate with customers to understand requirements and provide technical expertise.
- Deploy Databricks and Snowflake following best practices, ensuring knowledge transfer to customers.
- Maintain a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies.
- Work with system integrator consultants to position and deploy Databricks and Snowflake in customer environments.
- Develop utilities and accelerators to streamline migration activities.
- Create presentations and document learnings from projects.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Databricks and Snowflake products and services.
- Use AI to innovate and design solutions that bring efficiency and accelerate work

Expertise You'll Bring:

- Minimum 6 years of experience as a data engineer.
- Hands-on experience with data warehouse systems including Snowflake, Databricks and AI.
- Experience migrating on-premises data warehouse solutions to the cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Strong presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences.
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages like Python, Spark, Bash, Shell.
- Understanding of the complete data analytics stack and workflow, from ETL to BI and analytics tools.
