AI Engineer

About Position:

We are seeking a GCP AI Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in developing and deploying AI/ML solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The role focuses on hands-on model development, data preparation, and MLOps practices using GCP-native services such as Vertex AI, Big Query ML, and AI APIs. The candidate will work closely with data scientists, cloud engineers, and product teams to build and scale production-grade AI applications.

What You'll Do:

- AI/ML Development
- Build, train, and deploy machine learning models using Vertex AI, Tensor Flow, or Scikit-learn.
- Use Big Query ML to create and deploy models directly on structured data.
- Apply GCP AI APIs (Vision, NLP, Speech, Translation) and fine-tune models for specific business use cases.
- Support feature engineering and data preparation for ML workflows.
- MLOps & Automation
- Implement end-to-end ML pipelines using Vertex AI Pipelines or Kubeflow.
- Automate training, deployment, and monitoring processes with CI/CD tools (Cloud Build, Git Hub Actions).
- Ensure model versioning, monitoring, and retraining to maintain accuracy over time.
- Data Integration
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate pipelines using Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
- Work with structured and unstructured data sources (text, images, audio, video).
- Ensure secure data handling in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Collaboration & Support
- Partner with data scientists to product ionize prototypes and optimize models for performance.
- Collaborate with backend engineers for model integration into applications and APIs.
- Support QA and monitoring of AI/ML deployments in production.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- Primary Client Liaison – Act as the single point of contact for all technical matters with client stakeholders.
- Governance Oversight – Ensure all deliverables meet SOW-defined acceptance criteria and scope boundaries.
- Stakeholder Communication – Provide concise but detailed status updates to client and internal leadership.
- Partner with data scientists to produce prototypes and optimize models for performance.
- Collaborate with backend engineers for model integration into applications and APIs.
- Support QA and monitoring of AI/ML deployments in production.
