Oracle Fusion ERP Financials Analyst – GL​/FAH

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Functional Support Consultant to support and implement key financial initiatives on the Oracle platform. This role is driven by the rapid growth of legal entities and ledgers, including the formation of a Bank Holding Company and Group Companies.

The ideal candidate will possess strong finance and accounting knowledge along with hands-on functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials. A critical competency for this role is the ability to understand complex financial business requirements and translate them into effective Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP configurations and operational solutions.

The role involves application design, module configuration, testing, end-user training, and ongoing production support. Exposure to full SDLC project management is an added advantage. The position supports financial business users across North America and EMEA regions.

Key Responsibilities
Functional Support & Implementation
Provide functional support for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP modules, primarily:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounting Hub (FAH)
Reporting tools (OTBI, FRS, Smart View)
Analyze, design, configure, and test Oracle Financials enhancements to support evolving business processes.
Participate in Oracle Fusion Financials projects including configuration, implementation, testing, and user training.
Collaborate across IT domains including infrastructure, database, security, and operations teams to deliver integrated ERP functionality.
Ensure solutions align with the organization’s technology strategy and standards.
Production Support & Operations
Provide day-to-day production support for the Oracle Fusion ERP environment.
Support periodic patch applications, reporting requirements, and ad-hoc business requests.
Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issues in a timely manner.
Provide late-night production support and weekend implementation support as required.
Ensure compliance with change management and security policies.
Business Analysis & Documentation
Gather and manage end-user requirements (20%).
Design, configure, develop, test, and enhance Oracle Financials platform solutions (30%).
Provide production ERP issue support (45%).
Contribute to project management activities (5%).
Prepare detailed documentation including:
System Requirements Specifications (SRS)
Data flow diagrams
Test plans
Swim lane and process diagrams
Work closely with internal and external Oracle development teams to define and validate functional and non-functional requirements.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to better leverage Oracle Fusion ERP capabilities.
Bring industry best practices and process optimization recommendations to stakeholders.
Provide user training and general technical support for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.

Required Qualifications & Experience
Hands-on technical and functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
Strong knowledge of:
General Ledger
Accounting Hub (FAH)
Financial Reporting (OTBI, FRS, Smart View)
Solid finance and accounting domain knowledge.
Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and integration points across financial systems.
Experience working cross-functionally within complex organizations.
Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Experience in documenting requirements and system designs using standardized methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Oracle Property Manager.
Project management experience (MS Project preferred).
Experience managing or contributing to full SDLC implementations.
Experience supporting global users across North America and EMEA.
