Role Overview
This position is for the Employee Central Lead role. The candidate will work closely with Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects and will be part of the SAP Organization responsible for solution design in SAP Success Factors Employee Central .
The role also involves guiding the data platform team in transmitting data to Data Pond (SLB Data Repository) by understanding the existing Success Factors system landscape.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
Functional & Solution Design
Certified consultant in Success Factors Employee Central
Conduct design workshops with customers
Lead/manage teams for medium to complex design & solutions
Prepare and present documentation for current & to-be state solutions
Understand and manage EC data scope and migration to other modules
Core Functional Knowledge
Foundational & Organizational Data (Org, Pay, Job, MDFs)
SAP ECC Infotypes and mapping with Employee Central data attributes
Payroll-related fields and third-party system integrations
Integration setup between Success Factors and third-party systems
Understanding of Data Dictionary/Catalog and data utilization across systems
Configuration Expertise (Hands-On Required)
Business Rules & Field Propagation
Picklist Center
Workflow Configuration
Standard & Custom Reporting
Familiarity with latest SAP half-yearly releases
Testing & Release Management
Participate in estimation & planning for test releases
Create daily/weekly status reports
Perform:
Sanity Testing
Smoke Testing
Regression Testing
End-to-End (E2E) Testing
Test management in HP ALM / Azure Dev Ops
Follow testing governance standards & best practices
Soft Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong stakeholder management skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

This is a Solution Design + Functional Leadership role with hands-on configuration and testing responsibilities.
