As an L3 Network Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing the customer’s campus, branch, and data center network infrastructure. You will ensure uninterrupted 24x7 operations for essential services through advanced troubleshooting, governance, and technical leadership.

What You'll Do:
Perform best‑practice network audits to identify gaps, vulnerabilities, and improvement opportunities across routing, switching, DNAC, SDA, and data center environments.
Plan, design, and execute network upgrades to enhance performance, reliability, and scalability in alignment with customer standards and industry best practices.
Prepare detailed Method of Procedure (MOP) documents for all critical network changes, ensuring safe execution and rollback planning.
Review and validate MOPs created by L2 teams, providing recommendations, quality checks, and approval for production deployment.
Lead L3 escalations across campus and data center networks, handling complex issues involving Nexus 9K/3K, ACI (APIC, EPG, Contracts), routing protocols, segmentation, and automation tools.
Provide advanced troubleshooting, including packet‑level analysis, fault isolation, and RCA creation for P1/P2 incidents.
Guide, mentor, and support L2 engineers, helping them adopt new technologies, improve troubleshooting skills, and deliver operational excellence.
Collaborate closely with customer teams, architects, service owners, and stakeholders to deliver documentation, solution presentations, and improvement plans.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and architectural standards through proper network design and governance.
Support planned maintenance activities and lead technical bridge calls during high‑severity incidents.
Expertise You'll Bring:
Advanced Routing & Switching Expertise – Strong command over OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, STP, VLANs, VPC, and Ether Channel for enterprise‑scale networks.
Deep Knowledge of Cisco Nexus Platforms – Hands‑on experience with Nexus 9K/3K series, data center switching, and multi‑tier network architectures.
Cisco ACI Proficiency – Expertise in APIC, EPGs, bridge domains, contracts, fabric policies, and Day‑0/Day‑N operations.
Strong Troubleshooting Skills – Ability to perform packet‑level analysis, fault isolation, and resolution of P1/P2 incidents across DC and campus networks.
DNAC & SDA Operational Experience – Proficiency in managing DNA Center, SDA fabric operations, network segmentation, and policy‑driven automation.
MOP Preparation & Validation – Ability to create, review, validate, and execute Method of Procedure documents for critical network changes and upgrades.
Change & Incident Management – Experience working within ITIL frameworks, RCA creation, problem resolution, and coordination across multi‑functional teams.
Upgrade, Migration & Best‑Practice Audits – Experience planning and executing upgrades, performing best‑practice reviews, and optimizing network performance.
Automation & Telemetry Familiarity – Knowledge of network automation tools, APIs, scripts, and telemetry frameworks for proactive monitoring.
Leadership & Mentorship – Ability to guide L2 engineers, lead technical bridge calls, and drive operational excellence across network teams.
