System Administrator Lead

System Administrator Lead – Pune (Work from Office)

We are looking for experienced  System Administrators  from  Banking and NBFC platforms  to lead our IT infrastructure and support operations in Pune.

Role

Summary:

The System Admin Lead will be responsible for leading the IT infrastructure and support operations across locations. The role includes managing system performance, maintaining infrastructure security, ensuring business continuity, and supporting endpoint and server configurations, while aligning with the organization's security and regulatory compliance needs.

Key Responsibilities:

∙Lead and manage a team of system administrators and IT support staff.

∙ Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage, and endpoint devices.

∙ Ensure high availability of core IT systems including Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.

∙ Implement and manage endpoint security tools, patch management solutions, and backups.

∙ Manage IT asset inventory, software licenses, and compliance reporting.

∙ Coordinate with the Info Sec team to ensure compliance with RBI/IRDAI/DPDP guidelines.

∙ Handle escalations and complex issues related to system performance, user access, or downtime.

∙ Implement and maintain system monitoring tools and incident response procedures.

∙ Support DR (Disaster Recovery) and BCP (Business Continuity Planning) initiatives.

∙ Document SOPs, system changes, and configuration baselines.

∙ Support internal and external audits with system-related documentation and data.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

∙ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

∙ 7+ years of hands-on experience in systems administration, with 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role.

∙ Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux environments, Active Directory, O365, VMware/Hyper-V.

∙ Experience with security tools (antivirus, EDR, DLP), backup systems, and ITSM ticketing platforms.

∙ Understanding of RBI/NBFC regulatory requirements for IT infrastructure and data handling.

∙ Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.

∙ Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.

Preferred Certifications (any of the following):
Microsoft Certified:
Azure Administrator Associate
Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
∙ VMware VCP
∙ ITIL Foundation
∙ CompTIA Security+ or similar
