Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Service Now Developer with deep expertise in ITSM, CMDB, CSDM, and Service Mapping. In this role, you will design, configure, and maintain Service Now solutions that enhance IT service delivery, improve data governance, and enable effective service mapping across the enterprise. You will work closely with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to implement scalable, maintainable, and upgrade-safe Service Now solutions.
What will your role look like:
Develop and configure Service Now solutions focusing on ITSM, CMDB, CSDM, and Service Mapping
Customize workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI actions, UI policies, and Service Portal components as required
Implement and maintain Service Mapping to provide accurate dependency and service data for the CMDB
Collaborate with IT and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Support testing, deployment, and post-production stabilization of Service Now solutions
Ensure solutions follow Service Now best practices, maintainability, and upgrade-safe design principles
Monitor and improve CMDB data quality, completeness, and compliance with CSDM standards

Strong hands-on experience with Service Now ITSM modules
Experience with CMDB configuration, Service Mapping, and CSDM implementation
Proficiency in scripting and customization:
Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Script Includes
Experience integrating Service Now with other IT systems via REST/SOAP APIs
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and deliver quality solutions
Good-to-have skills:
Service Now certifications (CSA, CAD, or ITSM-related)
Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models
Exposure to multi-module Service Now implementations including CSM, HRSD, or GRC
