We are seeking a seasoned Vice President – Engineering to lead a large-scale delivery organization (500+ team members), provide technology vision, and drive product innovation and customer-centric outcomes. This is a senior leadership role responsible for both technical strategy and business growth.
About the Role
This position involves leading a large-scale delivery organization, providing technology leadership, and ensuring successful project delivery while driving innovation and business growth.
Responsibilities
Provide technology leadership across engineering and product development teams.
Deliver innovative solutions using .Net, Java Full Stack, Cloud Computing (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS), and modern architectural principles.
Manage P&L and gross margins; support business expansion through excellent delivery.
Lead large client engagements and ensure successful, on-time delivery of projects.
Champion Agile practices to improve productivity, predictability, and speed-to-value.
Oversee and scale a 500+ member engineering organization, including AVPs, SPDs, PDs.
Drive organization-led innovation including accelerators, IPs, frameworks, patents, etc.
Lead talent transformation – upskilling, cross-skilling, certifications, and leadership development.
Collaborate closely with vertical heads to align technology with business goals.
Qualifications
15–20 years of experience in product engineering and software development leadership.
Required Skills
Proven ability to translate product roadmaps into scalable engineering strategies.
Strong background in product lifecycle management across multiple roles.
Experience managing large-scale delivery organizations (300+ in services / 100–150 in product firms).
Strong customer engagement experience at enterprise and CxO levels.
Up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software engineering.
Strong IP-led transformation experience (Accelerators, POCs, Assets, Frameworks).
Hands-on technical expertise with architecture, design, and pre-sales support.
Strong decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing engineering teams in a global setup.
