The NOC Engineer – Datadog & Azure Monitor plays a critical role in ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of the organization’s cloud and application environment. As part of the Network Operations Center (NOC), you will be responsible for real‑time monitoring of infrastructure, applications, and services using advanced observability platforms such as Azure Monitor and Datadog.

What You'll Do:
The NOC Engineer Azure Monitor & Datadog is responsible for 24×7 monitoring of Azure cloud infrastructure, applications, and critical business systems. The role includes alert analysis, incident triage, escalation, troubleshooting, documentation, and ensuring operational stability following defined SOPs and SLAs.
This role also supports HCM application operations, ticket lifecycle management, coordination with stakeholders, and ensures uninterrupted service availability
Monitor Azure resources (VMs, App Services, Storage, Network, Databases) using Azure Monitor.
Monitor cloud and application performance using Datadog dashboards, metrics, logs & alerts.
Conduct proactive health checks to prevent outages or service degradation.
Identify anomalies through log analytics, metrics, and application insights.
B. Alert & Incident Management
Acknowledge and triage alerts raised by Azure Monitor, Datadog, or internal tools.
Perform L1/L2 troubleshooting:
Server & network checks
Log reviews
Resource utilization analysis
Create, update, and manage incident tickets in ITSM tools (Service Now, Jira, Remedy, Salesforce).
Ensure all incidents are handled within SLA timelines.
Manage bridge calls and coordinate with internal/external technical teams during P1/P2 issues.
C. Operational Support
Support planned maintenance, deployment activities, and post-change validation.
Monitor stability after patching, releases, and infrastructure modifications.
Work with vendors during global outages or infrastructure escalations.
Provide shift handover reports with precise updates and open incidents.
D. HCM Support Responsibilities
Handle HCM tickets via Salesforce or other ticketing platforms.
Maintain team rosters, availability sheets, resource lists, access logs, and backup plans.
Ensure documentation of incident reports, RCAs, escalations, and runbooks.
Track shift allowances, resource onboarding, and access provisioning.
E. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain SOPs, KB articles, troubleshooting guides, and runbooks.
Document incident summaries, RCA reports, and monitoring dashboards.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Expertise You'll Bring:
Hands-on experience using Azure Portal for L1-level cloud operations & monitoring.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Azure Monitor, or equivalent.
Familiarity with ITSM & ticketing tools such as Service Now, Jira, or BMC Remedy.
Strong understanding of alert triage, incident management, and SLA-driven operations.
Basic troubleshooting skills in networking, servers, and cloud environments.
Working knowledge of HCM support workflows is an added
