Job overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manual QA Tester with strong knowledge of Selenium to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications, along with automation skills using Selenium. This role requires a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect management to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.

Responsibilities & Duties:

- Execute comprehensive manual testing for web and mobile applications, including functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.
- Create detailed, well-structured, and reusable test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium Web Driver to support regression and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA), and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman, SOAP UI, or similar, validating data flow between services.
- Identify areas for process improvement in testing strategies and participate in QA process enhancement activities.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation for test cases, testing results, and defect reports.
- Work with performance testing tools as needed to ensure applications meet performance benchmarks.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing with a solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and agile practices.

Must have prior experience working in the healthcare domain.

Technical

Skills:

- Strong expertise in manual testing across web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in Selenium Web Driver for automation (scripting, execution, and debugging).
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Client, or SOAP UI.
- Familiarity with database testing using SQL queries.
- Good understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and test management tools like JIRA, Test Rail, or similar.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or Load Runner.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and working in fast-paced environments.
