Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) Order Management Developer with 4–7 years of Salesforce experience, including strong hands-on expertise in Industries Order Management (OM) and Omni Studio. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering end-to-end Order Management solutions within Communications or Media domains. Media industry experience (Streaming, Broadcasting, Digital Subscriptions, Ad Sales, Publishing) is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Salesforce Industries Order Management solutions.
- Configure and develop using:
- Industries OM
- Enterprise Product Catalog (EPC)
- Industries CPQ
- Omni Studio (OmniScripts, Data Raptors, Integration Procedures, Flex Cards)
- Build order orchestration, decomposition, and fulfillment flows.
- Develop custom solutions using Apex, LWC, and Flows.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware).
- Participate in requirement workshops and provide effort estimations.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices.
- Support CI/CD deployments and Agile delivery processes.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to architecture discussions.
Required Skills
- Salesforce Industries Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience in Industries Order Management (OM).
- Experience with EPC product modeling and pricing configuration.
- Knowledge of asset-based ordering and order lifecycle management.
- Experience in order orchestration and fulfillment integration.
- Salesforce Platform
- Apex, LWC, Aura (as needed)
- Flows and declarative configuration
- SOQL/SOSL
- Data tools (Data Loader, Workbench)
- Salesforce security & sharing model
- Integrations & Dev Ops
- REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML
- Middleware integration (Mule Soft or similar preferred)
- CI/CD (SFDX, Git-based deployments)
- VS Code, Salesforce CLI
- Preferred – Media Industry Knowledge
- Subscription lifecycle management
- Recurring billing and digital subscription models
- Ad sales order management
- Content bundling and entitlement management
- High-volume order processing environments
Certifications
- Platform Developer I/II (Mandatory)
- Salesforce Industries / Omni Studio Certifications (Mandatory)
Experience Required
- 4–7 years of Salesforce development experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) OM experience.
- Experience leading or contributing to at least one full OM implementation.
- Media or Communications industry exposure preferred.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work in Agile teams.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience mentoring junior team members.
