Job Description:
- 3–4 years of experience in Email Security / Messaging Security / Cybersecurity Pre-Sales roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Proofpoint Email Protection solutions, including:
- Proofpoint Email Protection (POD / Enterprise)
- Threat Protection (Phishing, Malware, BEC)
- Targeted Attack Protection (TAP)
- Impostor & Fraud Protection
- Email DLP and Compliance (Archiving, eDiscovery – good to have)
- - Solid understanding of:
- SMTP, MX records, DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC
- Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online email architectures
- Email attack vectors and threat models
- - Experience conducting POCs, tuning policies, analyzing logs, and presenting results.
Soft Skills & Competencies
- Strong customer communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Consultative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced pre-sales environment with multiple parallel opportunities.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
Certifications (Preferred)
- Proofpoint Certified Technical Specialist (PCTS) or equivalent
- Microsoft 365 / Security certifications (nice to have)
- Any relevant cybersecurity certifications (CEH, Security+, etc.)
