Role Overview
Zywave is looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our  Data Platform team . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern data stack technologies, building scalable data pipelines, and supporting analytics-driven product platforms. Experience in product-based organizations and the insurance domain is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ELT workflows.
Build and maintain data models using  DBT .
Develop and manage cloud-based data warehousing solutions using  Snowflake .
Write efficient and optimized queries using  SQL .
Develop automation and data processing scripts using  Python .
Manage source control and collaboration using  Git .
Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional product, analytics, and engineering teams in an Agile setup.
Support performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of data systems.
Mandatory Skills
Strong hands-on experience with  Snowflake
Solid expertise in  DBT (Data Build Tool)
Advanced proficiency in  SQL
Strong programming skills in  Python

Experience with  Git
Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines in modern cloud environments

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in  Insurance domain
Background in  Product-based organizations
Exposure to modern data architecture and analytics platforms
Understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, and performance optimization
