This role involves developing network automation solutions using Python while working closely with L2/L3 networking technologies and MPLS-based infrastructures. You will contribute to enhancing NMS/EMS systems and ensuring seamless operation of large-scale network environments.

What You'll Do:

- Develop automation tools, scripts, and applications using Python for network operations and monitoring.
- Work with NMS/EMS systems to integrate, manage, and troubleshoot network elements.
- Implement and support L2/L3 networking protocols (e.g., VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS).
- Contribute to the design and enhancement of network features, configurations, and service provisioning.
- Analyze network behavior, debug issues, and provide fixes or enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable network solutions.
- Support network testing, validation, and performance optimization.
- Prepare technical documents, architecture diagrams, and operational workflows.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- Strong hands‑on experience in Python programming, including automation scripts, network tool development, and API integrations.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, subnetting, and traffic flow.
- Practical experience working with MPLS technologies, including L2/L3 VPNs, label switching, and network traffic engineering concepts.
- Familiarity with NMS/EMS platforms for monitoring, configuration, performance, and fault management of network devices.
- Good working knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols such as VLAN, STP, ARP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS.
- Ability to analyze network behavior, troubleshoot issues, and provide reliable solutions for performance and stability.
- Experience working with routers, switches, and other network devices in lab or production environments.
- Understanding of network management interfaces such as SNMP, Net Conf, REST APIs, and related tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical approach to debugging and root-cause analysis.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional engineering teams.
- Ability to document network processes, workflows, and design details in a clear and structured manner.
