As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying challenges, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with complex environments to maintain system stability and support business continuity through effective problem-solving and timely interventions.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of support activities with business objectives.
Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical and problem-solving capabilities.
Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues before they impact operations.

Proficiency in SAP FI S/4
HANA Accounting.
Strong knowledge of financial accounting processes and integration within enterprise resource planning systems.
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SAP FI modules in a live environment.
Ability to analyze system logs and error messages to diagnose root causes effectively.
Familiarity with configuration and customization of SAP FI components to meet business requirements.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical information clearly.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP FI S/4
HANA Accounting.
This position is based at our Pune office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
