Position: API Testing - (Playwright / Rest Assured)
Job Description:

A day in the life of an Infoscion
As part of the Infosys consulting team your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues diagnose problem areas design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight
You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise
You will plan the activities of configuration configure the product as per the design conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design
You will conduct solution product demonstrations POC Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization s financial guidelines
Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers

Key Responsibilities:

6 8 years of experience in API Automation testing with a strong understanding of Agile testing methodologies and best practices
Minimum 4 years of experience in API automation using Rest Assured with BDD Cucumber including the ability to design and implement automation frameworks from scratch
Minimum 2 years of experience in API functional testing using tools Postman SoapUI Swagger UI
Hands on experience with Playwright for modern test automation
Experience in UI test automation using Java Selenium with Page Object Model and BDD Cucumber approach
Familiarity with Dev Ops tools including Git Hub Jenkins and Git Lab for CI CD and version control
Should have worked on IDE like Intelli

J and VS code for API Automation
Experience working with databases such as Oracle and Postgre

SQL for validation and data handling
Proven ability to independently manage end to end E2E API testing activities
Excellent communication skills with experience in client interaction and stakeholder management
Experience on Cloud platforms like AWS Azure
Must have worked on Agile practices
Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
