We are seeking a high-octane  Delivery Manager (DM)  who thrives on operational rigor and structural discipline. We have recently exited Phase 1 of our Delivery Transformation—moving from ad-hoc operations to a baseline governance model. Your mandate is NOT to reinvent our strategy (unless required mandatorily), but to execute and enforce the existing playbook with relentless precision. You will act as the 'CEO of the account,' accountable for On Time Delivery, P&L, client satisfaction, strict enforcement of project management practices, and our delivery frameworks.

We need an executioner who can stabilize inconsistent operations and drive our transformation focused on engineering quality.

Roles And Responsibilities

Process Excellence
Streamlining process across multiple pillars such as Engineering, Staffing, AI, Governance & reporting, and quality control.
Project & Program management:
Ensure End to End project management practices and processes are followed and adhered to.
Operational Rigor:
Enforce strict policies that ensure 100% of projects(including existing and new) have valid, countersigned SOWs, MSA/Contracts and extension plans.
Predictable Delivery:
Maintain a rigid planning discipline including sprint commitments, risk tracking (RAID logs), and buffer management.
Metric-Driven Governance:
Drive delivery based on hard data (Cycle Time, Velocity, Defect Leakage, and Predictability) rather than subjective status updates.
Standardization:
Ensure 100% adoption of standardized reporting templates (WSRs, MBRs & QBRs) and maintain centralized repository structures.
People Management & RACI Clarity
Accountability:
Own the 'One throat to choke' model for your assigned portfolio.
Team Leadership:
Manage a team of Project Managers and Tech Leads, ensuring clear role boundaries: DMs own commercial/resourcing but helping PMs own execution, and EMs own technical quality.
Performance Management:
Conduct tough conversations regarding underperformance and execute corrective actions or exits when necessary.
Resource Discipline:
Transition all onboarding/offboarding processes to auditable, system-driven workflows to prevent security breaches and billing leaks.
Client Communication & Relationship Management
Direct & Boundary-Led Consulting:
Maintain a proactive, data-driven communication cadence (WSRs/MBRs) that prioritizes transparency over people-pleasing.
Negotiation & 'Hold the Line' Mindset:
Firmly resist client-driven scope creep or 'ad-hoc favors' by enforcing formal change control and commercial corrections, ensuring every request has a quantified impact on timeline and cost.
Outcome-Based Relationships:
Build trust through 'predictable execution' rather than personality; ensure all client commitments are grounded in system-generated data and documented governance rather than handshake agreements.
Conflict Resolution:
Lead difficult conversations regarding trade-offs (Scope vs. Timeline vs. Cost) and underperformance without avoidance, using the RACI framework to provide clarity during escalations.
Technical Literacy & Engineering Governance
Earn Respect:
You must be 'tech-literate' enough to challenge architecture trade-offs, feasibility, and risks.
Enforcement:
Implement technical rigor including mandatory architecture reviews, peer-reviewed code merges, and static code analysis.
AI Oversight:
Monitor and enforce safe AI usage, ensuring engineers use approved tools for acceleration while preventing proprietary code leakage to public LLMs.

Technical Skills

Proven experience managing high-scale delivery with a focus on predictability metrics.
Expertise in Agile governance (DoR/DoD, quality gates, and release cadences).
Experience in recovery of failing projects through re-baselining and stakeholder resets.
End to end ownership of accounts.
Excellent project and program management.
Client communication & Relationship management
Experience identifying 'whitespace' for upsells or cross-sells based on delivery insights.

Good To Have

Financial & Legal Oversight:  While the DM owns the P&L, deep expertise in revenue/margin lever analysis and legal liability in WOs is considered a bonus.
