Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Service Now Consultant with strong expertise in CMDB (Configuration Management Database), CSDM (Common Service Data Model), ITSM, and Service Now integrations.

In this role, you will design, configure, and optimize Service Now solutions to improve IT service delivery, strengthen CMDB data governance, and align enterprise services with CSDM standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement scalable, maintainable, and business-aligned Service Now solutions.

What Your Role Will Look Like

Module Development:
Configure, customize, and maintain Service Now solutions with a strong focus on CMDB, CSDM, and ITSM modules.

Data Governance:
Implement and manage CMDB governance, CI relationships, and data quality initiatives.

CSDM Alignment:
Design and support CSDM alignment to standardize service and application models across the organization.

Integrations:
Enable and support system integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and Integration Hub.

Collaboration:

Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Platform Scripting:
Configure and customize Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and workflows/Flow Designer.

Platform Health:
Monitor and improve CMDB health, data completeness, normalization, and compliance.

Best Practices:
Ensure Service Now implementations follow industry best practices, maintainability, and upgrade-safe design principles.

Knowledge of database management/querying, alongside strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with ITOM, Discovery, Service Mapping, or Asset Management.

Service Now certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM, or CMDB-related certifications.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

Exposure to broader Service Now modules (e.g., CSM, HRSD, GRC, or IRM).Prior consulting or client-facing implementation experience.
