Role Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and performance-oriented Sales Trainer / Sr. Sales Trainer to enhance sales capability and drive revenue outcomes in a fast-paced EdTech environment. This role will be instrumental in building high-performing sales teams through structured training interventions, coaching, and continuous capability development.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in sales training, a deep understanding of B2C/EdTech sales dynamics, and a data-driven approach to improving conversion and learner experience.

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end New Hire Training (NHT), On-the-Job Training (OJT), and ongoing refresher programs
Drive sales capability development to improve conversion rates and overall team productivity
Conduct call audits, live coaching, and feedback sessions to enhance sales quality
Monitor trainee performance and provide structured, actionable coaching plans
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Quality, and Operations teams to identify improvement areas
Design and deliver high-impact, engaging training modules and learning content
Track and analyze training effectiveness through dashboards, reports, and KPIs
Identify skill gaps and implement targeted learning interventions aligned with business goals

Required Skills & Experience –
Sales Trainer: 2–3 years of experience in Sales Training
Proven experience in EdTech or B2C sales environments preferred
Strong understanding of sales processes, objection handling, negotiation, and closing techniques
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
Hands-on experience in OJT management, call evaluations, and performance coaching
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and training batches in a fast-paced setup
Strong analytical mindset with experience in measuring and improving training ROI

Education –
Bachelor's degree in any discipline
MBA (Sales/Marketing) preferred

Technical Skills –
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Advanced skills in presentation design and delivery (PPT storytelling)
Experience in building and managing training dashboards, reports, and performance trackers
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Working knowledge of CRM tools and sales tracking platforms
Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and drive performance improvements
