As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various critical business system components. The position demands continuous engagement with system environments to maintain stability and support business continuity through timely resolution of technical challenges.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of business applications.
Document and communicate findings and solutions clearly to stakeholders and team members.
Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

Skills:
Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration.
Experience in managing and maintaining SAP environments including system installations, upgrades, and patching.
Strong knowledge of system performance tuning and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with database administration and backup/recovery procedures related to SAP systems.
Ability to monitor system health and proactively address potential issues to minimize downtime.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
This position is based at our Pune office.
