Job Description

Syngenta is seeking an experienced BI Platform Admin Engineer based in Pune, India.

The BI Platform Engineer will be primarily responsible for managing the organization's Qlik Sense and Power

BI environments .

In this role, the Engineer will be responsible for the delivery and troubleshooting in BI Platforms Server / tenant administration, bring innovations, Consulting the self service teams for new integrations, best practices for platform cost optimization. Thus , provide a technical leadership to the external platform service team as well as provide a governance to various self service delivery teams.

Experience

Overall 9+ years of

Experience with at least 3 years of Qlik Sense site / SaaS Administration / Power

BI administration experience in a multinational environment hnical Lead experience with developing and architecting Qlik and Power

BI platform Solutions and provide guidance to self service users / developers for best practices

Job Responsibilities

Installing and configuration – Power

BI / Qlik Sense (Site and Cloud related components)
Troubleshooting and diagnostic support for platform issues – Priority Incident, problem, and service outage management
Platform Upgrades, patch and bug fix deployment , new innovative features , extensions
Ensure Platform availability , reliability and cost optimization opportunities
Ensure Platform Security and compliance and related measures are implemented

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
Results-driven with the ability to take initiatives, handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities and meet deadlines
Must have a strong ability and desire to assimilate and apply knowledge as well as to spread acquired knowledge and experience to other team members
Communication skills , Collaboration with External teams and various vendors partner teams, expected to actively seek understanding and alignment on strategic and tactical priorities and adapt accordingly
Agile Scrum / Dev Ops knowledge

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent technical training and experience
Certification in Qlik Sense Administration / Power

BI admin

Experience with AWS, Azure Cloud
AWS Certification for Cloud architecture knowledge (Good to have)
