Collaborate with the existing QA members to set automation standards and best practices.
Develop Automation Frameworks, evaluate toolsets, suggest application specific solutions
Always updated with new technologies, methods and procedures including, but not limited to, coding practices such as Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment
Fix harness errors, Script issues etc
Knowledge and proficient understanding of at least one coding language (JAVA, C#, SQL)
Knowledge and proficient understanding of automated testing tools (JMeter, TSQLT)
Experience of working in an Agile/Scrum environment using appropriate ALM tools, such as Azure Dev Ops
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
Experience of working in an Agile environment
Experience in the use of CI/CD platforms such as Azure Devops and integration of automated tests through deployment
Qualification
BE/ME/MCA from a reputed institute with 5+ Years in IT Experience.
Must Have Skills
Min. 2+ years of proven experience in Quality Assurance and Automation.
Experience with developing and implementing Testing Automation Frameworks
Experienced with both UI and API based testing automation
Experienced with automation strategies for unit testing
Experienced with CI/CD pipeline automation
Experienced with Selenium, Tosca, Postman, and other open-source automation tools
Experienced with Performance Testing tools like Load Runner and JMeter
Software Engineering Experience.
Agile and Scrum experience.
Good to have skills
Ability to organize, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work independently
Ability to handle multiple projects and activities in a timely, organized manner
Ability to recognize design and usage patterns and adapt designs accordingly.
Requires strong oral and written communication skills
Must be a creative problem solver, flexible, proactive, and work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
Ability to facilitate meetings and action plans
Must be a strong team player
Ability to understand REST/SOAP API, JSON, and XML formats – experience with API testing tools is a plus.
Knowledge of Web Application Testing, Performance Testing, Database Testing, Security Testing, Web Service Testing.
Experienced with test driven development
Regression test management
