Industry Partnerships, Internships & Student Success Lead

We’re looking for a dynamic, industry-connected professional to help expand opportunities for students through industry partnerships, internships, projects, placements, and competitive programs. This role will work closely with MSMEs, enterprise employers, and academic stakeholders to create meaningful pathways for students across AI, AR/VR/XR, cybersecurity, and career readiness. The role will cover West India and may involve both paid and unpaid engagement models depending on the opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
· Liaise with MSMEs across West India to identify, develop, and implement AI solutions for industry use cases, leveraging certified students from Veloces Campus as contributors to these initiatives.

· Identify AR/VR/XR solution opportunities that can be implemented across industries, and convert them into internship and project-based learning opportunities for students.

· Build relationships with companies to secure internship opportunities and coordinate with students to support successful internship placements.

· Work with leading IT and non-IT companies to onboard mentors who can guide students through internships, live projects, and industry-relevant assignments.

· Train students for entrance and hiring assessments conducted by leading IT companies, and ensure they are well prepared to succeed in these selection processes.

· Identify cybersecurity internship opportunities, bug bounty programs, and related challenge platforms where students can participate, gain experience, and compete for rewards or cash prizes.

· Drive groundwork for internships and placement opportunities for final-year students, including both local and overseas opportunities.

· Plan and run competitions, hackathons, and inter-university engagement programs under the Veloces Campus ecosystem.
Preferred Profile The ideal candidate should have strong industry networking skills, experience in business development, placements, internships, or academic-industry collaboration, and a passion for student outcomes. Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI, AR/VR/XR, and cybersecurity will be highly valuable. Excellent communication, relationship management, and execution skills are essential.
