Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced API Automation Tester with strong expertise in API testing, automation frameworks, and Java programming. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Rest Assured, Playwright, and automation testing for enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for API and UI testing.
Perform API testing using Rest Assured.
Develop and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.
Write reusable and scalable automation scripts using Java.
Validate REST APIs, request/response payloads, authentication, and integrations.
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and prepare test scenarios.
Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Identify, track, and report defects with proper documentation.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support continuous testing practices.
Ensure automation best practices and coding standards are followed.

Required Skills
Strong experience in API Automation Testing
Hands-on experience with Rest Assured
Strong experience in Playwright automation
Good programming skills in Java

Experience with REST APIs and API validation
Knowledge of automation frameworks and test design patterns

Experience with Maven, TestNG/JUnit, Git, and CI/CD tools
Good understanding of Agile methodology

Mandatory Requirements
6+ years of experience in Automation Testing
Strong hands-on experience in API Automation
Excellent Java coding skills
Immediate to short notice candidates preferred
Candidate should be willing to work from Pune location only
