Data Solution Architect

Position: We are looking for Data Solution Architect
Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a proficient Data Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, efficient data pipelines and enterprise data solutions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement data management strategies, and ensure data quality, security, and availability. The Data Engineer will leverage experience in cloud platforms, big data tools, and modern development practices to enable data-driven decision-making and operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end solution architecture for Payment Post Processing use cases (Notifications, Reports)

• Help build new integration with legacy and modern Payment processors to receive all Payment master data.

• Lead architecture decisions for batch and real-time data processing.

• Help build end to end designs with other senior architects in other Sub Value Stream of GPS.

• Build and optimize data platforms on cloud and on-prem.

• Define scalable data models, pipelines, and governance frameworks

• Ensure data quality, lineage, security, and compliance

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to align architecture with business goals

• Drive adoption of best practices, standards, and reusable frameworks

• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams

• Evaluate new technologies and drive innovation in data architecture
Required Technical

Skills:

• Experience of working on large scale Data Platforms (On Cloud and On-Prem)

• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) mainly:
Big Query, Bigtable, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Spanner, Looker, Vertex AI (ML integration)

• Strong understanding of:
o Data Lakehouse architecture
o Streaming vs batch trade-offs
o Distributed systems design
o API and event-driven architecture

• Experience with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks
Stakeholder Management

• Strong ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders

• Experience navigating complex and ambiguous environments

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to balance technical trade-offs with business priorities
Domain Expertise (Mandatory)

• Strong hands-on experience in Payments Domain, including:
o ISO 20022 messaging standards
o SEPA payments
o SWIFT (especially CAMT messages)
o CBPR+/CGI standards
o PAIN / PACS message formats

• Payment Processing and Post-Processing.

• Payment Investigation scenarios.
