ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Drone Pilot & Trainer who is proficient in flying small to medium-range UAVs and capable of training individuals and teams on drone operations.
This is a hands-on, field-intensive role that combines practical drone flying expertise with training and documentation responsibilities . The ideal candidate must be confident in real-world flying conditions and capable of translating their knowledge into structured training programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Drone Operations & Flying
Operate and pilot small to medium UAVs in various environments
Perform pre-flight checks, mission planning, and post-flight analysis
Handle real-time flight challenges, including wind conditions, signal issues, and emergency scenarios
Ensure safe and efficient drone operations in compliance with regulations
2. Training & Skill Development
Train students, clients, or internal teams on drone flying and operations
Conduct practical flight training sessions (basic to advanced levels)
Teach safety protocols, mission planning, and UAV handling techniques
Evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive feedback
3. Training Content & Documentation
Develop structured training manuals, SOPs, and instructional material
Create step-by-step guides for drone operation, maintenance, and safety
Design training modules for beginner to advanced levels
Maintain documentation for compliance and knowledge transfer
4. Mission Planning & Execution
Plan and execute drone missions for applications such as:
Surveillance
Inspection
Mapping
Training exercises
Use mission planning tools to set waypoints and optimize flight paths
5. Compliance & Safety
Ensure all operations comply with DGCA regulations and safety standards
Maintain flight logs, incident reports, and operational documentation
Enforce strict safety discipline during training and live operations
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERTISE
Strong hands-on experience in flying multirotor drones (small & medium category)
Deep understanding of UAV flight behavior and control
Ability to handle drones in real-world conditions (not just simulations)
Experience in training individuals or conducting workshops
Strong communication and teaching ability
Knowledge of mission planning tools (Mission Planner or similar)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
3–6+ years of hands-on drone flying experience
Proven experience in training or mentoring drone operators
Experience in real-world deployments (inspection, surveillance, mapping, etc.)
Must have logged significant flight hours

Experience with multiple drone platforms (Fixed Wing, custom UAVs, etc.)
Knowledge of basic troubleshooting and maintenance
Exposure to industrial drone applications
