The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of IT Applications to join our EIT team.
As the Head of IT Applications, you will be responsible for driving transformation & innovation by leveraging technology, while ensuring stable day-to-day services of JADE applications at a Global Level. You will be leading a team of Application Specialists and be responsible for their growth and skills enhancement
The position is based out of Pune
Responsibilitie
sStrategic Planning and Roadmap
:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.
Develop an Integrated Application Roadmap, aligning it with business outcomes and IT capabilities.
Business Relationship Manageme
nt:
Establish strong relationships with business units, acting as a trusted advisor and partne
r. Regularly engage with business stakeholders, manage expectations, and identify opportunities for improve men
t.
Transformation and Innovat
ion:
Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends that can drive transformation and innovati
on. Collaborate with business units to develop and implement technology-driven initiatives driving productivity and efficienc
ies
Service Delivery and Operational Manag
ement
Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all JADE Business applicati
ons. Ensuring the delivery of IT Application services meets the agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (K
PIs).Managing IT Delivery projects, including planning, scheduling, and executing project tasks, managing project risks, issues, and dependen
cies.
Ensure application performance, availability, and security meet or exceed
SLAsImplement and maintain ITIL best practices and proc
esses
Oversee the incident management process (Including major Incidents), ensuring timely resolution of i
ssues
Lead problem management activities to identify root causes and prevent recur
rence
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, infrastructure, software development, and business stakeholders, to define and deliver IT serv
ices.
Developing and implementing service improvement plans to enhance service quality and customer satisfac
tion.
Ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards, including data privacy, security, and compli
a
nce.
Qualifi
cations
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related
field.
MBA degree is de
sirable
Strong analytical skills to assess service performance and make data-driven recommenda
tions. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced envir
onment.
Exp
erience At least 15 years of experience leading Global IT Applications teams in Commercial, Project Delivery, Business Analytics, Finance, Procurement and HR f
unctions
Has worked in a Global and multi-cultural envi
ronment Proactive approach to drive change and improving user ex
perience
Experience in driving transformation and innovation. Exposure to Digital/AI ways of working pr
eferred Communicating effectively with stakeholders, including executives, business leaders, and technic
al teams
Excellent People Management skills, develop Talent and
growth Up to date with current technology, industry trends, and deve
lopments
