Senior Network Architect

About Position:

The Senior Network Engineer/architect plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting our advanced network infrastructure. 15-20 years of experience. Reporting to the Director of Network Operations, this individual will contribute to various aspects of network engineering, from planning and architecture to deployment and optimization. Successful candidates should exhibit a solid understanding of networking principles, emerging trends, and state-of-the-art tools and techniques.

What You'll Do:

- Design and implement network architectures for multi-site organizations, incorporating LAN, wireless, routing, and datacenter technologies
- Evaluate & Deploy SD-WAN, DMVPN, Geo Hub, and hybrid WAN solutions to maximize uptime, resiliency, and performance
- Deploy & support Zero Trust Solutions such as Zscaler which includes ZPA & ZIA. Create Policies & monitor Performance.
- Deploy OOBA for Network Devices.
- Deployment of QOS across the Network for voice & VIdeo.
- Select and configure appropriate authentication methods, such as Radius, ISE, and AAA, to protect resources and enforce access policies.
- Ensure all Network Equipements are as per Hardening Policy & Configuration Guidelines.
- Deploy, manage, and monitor Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls, securing perimeters against cyber threats
- Deploy Cloud Network Services which includes Network management of Public cloud network services, Virtual Firewall, connectivity, Virtual Private Cloud, IP management, and Certificate management.
- Perform Code Upgrades & Maintenance as per defined Policy.
- Ensure Upto date Inventory of Network Assets, Versions, Support Contracts in CMDB.
- Deploy, Manage, Troubleshoot Enterprise WIreless solutions such as HP, Cisco which includes Controllers & Access Points.
- Establish and maintain Remote Access VPN tunnels via Cisco ASA appliances, allowing employees to securely connect to corporate resources
- Use tools such as Logic Monitor, Appneta etcto proactively monitor network health, investigate anomalies, and perform root cause analysis. Conf
- Analyze netflow and packet captures with Splunk and Wireshark to gain insights into traffic patterns, bandwidth utilization, and latency issues to tune Network for Optimal Performance.
- Configure Logging on all Devices & SIEM Ingestion.
- Identify and address bottlenecks, misconfigurations, and faulty hardware components, applying proven troubleshooting methodologies to minimize downtime
- Document network designs, configurations, toppology diagrams and procedures, adhering to established change control processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-availability virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions on Microsoft Azure
- Contribute to ongoing process automation efforts, employing scripting languages like Shell scripting, Python, Power Shell, and RESTful APIs
- Configure & Provide perioding uptime, SLA, Network Utilization reports.
- Work on ITMS Tools for incident, Problem & Change Mangement.
- Work with Vendor to Fix Critical Issues, maintain Maintenance COntracts, SLA Violations, Installation of Network Gear / Appliances.
- Develop, maintain Tech-Refresh Plan as per Roadmap.
- Participate IN On-Call Rota & work with Network Operations Team to resolve Escalations.
- Perform DNS, Certificate Management.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- Bachelor's Degree from a reputed University
- Deep understanding of networking protocols, standards, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with deploying, Maintaining & Troubleshooting Routing, QOS & Switching solutions (Cisco, Juniper etc )
- Hands-on experience with HPNA, Firewall Administration, and Load Balancers (e.g., A10 Networks, F5, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks)
- Practical knowledge of cloud computing, especially Microsoft Azure VNETs etc.
- Administration deployment & troubleshooting of Cisco ISE.
- Familiarity with leading network monitoring tools, such as Logicmonitor, Solar Winds, Nagios, Zabbix.

- Working experience with at least 1 ITSM tool such as Service Now etc for ITIL processes.
- Track record of completing large-scale network projects on time and within budget
- Self-motivated learner, comfortable researching and mastering modern technologies
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas to diverse audiences
- Availability to work flexible hours, respond to emergencies, and participate in occasional on-call rotations
- Troubleshooting Network issues using Tools such as Wireshark, Splunk, Syslog etc.
- Understanding of IP Telephony & Video COnferencing.
- Awareness of a scripting language would be a Plus.
