Tickernaut is building an AI-powered research and analytics platform for investment professionals. We help wealth managers, research analysts, advisors, and financial institutions make better investment decisions through AI, financial data, and intelligent research workflows.
We're at an exciting stage of growth and are looking for one of our first core product hires to work directly with the Founder & CEO.

About the Role
This is  not  a traditional Product Manager role.
You'll work directly with the founder to build AI-first products for investment professionals. You'll learn how products are conceived, validated, designed, and launched in a fast-moving startup.
Over time, you'll take ownership of entire product verticals and help shape the future of Tickernaut.

What You'll Do
Product Discovery
Understand how investment professionals research companies and make investment decisions.
Participate in customer discussions to uncover pain points and identify product opportunities.
Convert customer insights into product ideas and feature recommendations.

AI Product Development
Help design AI-powered experiences for investment research, financial analysis, screening, and document intelligence.
Research the latest AI tools, models, and agentic workflows, and identify ways to incorporate them into our product.
Work with the founder to simplify complex financial workflows using AI.

Product Execution
Translate ideas into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Collaborate closely with engineering to clarify requirements and ensure timely delivery.
Test new features, identify usability issues, and continuously improve the user experience.

Product Ownership
Monitor product usage and gather customer feedback.
Prioritize enhancements based on user needs and business impact.
Gradually take ownership of specific product areas from ideation to launch.

What We're Looking For
2-5
years of experience in Product, Engineering, Business Analysis, Finance, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Genuine interest in financial markets, investing, or fintech.
Curiosity about AI and emerging technologies.
Self-driven, resourceful, and comfortable working in a startup environment.
Willingness to learn quickly and take ownership.

Personal investing experience.
Exposure to AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar.
Basic understanding of SQL or Python.
CFA, NISM, or other finance-related certifications (or pursuing them).

Compensation
₹20,000–25,000 per month (depending on experience)
Equity/ESOP opportunity based on long-term commitment and contribution
