Search Engine Optimization Executive

We are looking for a passionate and performance-driven SEO & GEO Executive with 1 years of experience to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in eCommerce SEO, Shopify SEO, content optimization and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies to improve organic visibility and drive growth for D2C brands.

Roles and Responsibilities :
Execute on-page, off-page and technical SEO activities for eCommerce websites.
Optimize collection pages, product pages, blogs and landing pages for better rankings and conversions.
Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and search intent mapping for eCommerce brands.
Work on Shopify SEO including site structure, filters, collections, meta data, schema, and indexing optimization.
Implement GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategies to improve visibility across AI-driven search platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
Create SEO content briefs with keyword placement, internal linking, and content recommendations.
Monitor and improve website performance using Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
Coordinate with developers, designers, and content teams for SEO implementation.
Identify and resolve technical SEO issues such as crawl errors, indexing issues, broken links, duplicate content, page speed and Core Web Vitals.
Support backlink-building and organic growth initiatives.
Track rankings, traffic, revenue contribution, and prepare monthly SEO reports.
Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, AI search trends, and eCommerce SEO best practices.

Required skills:

1 year of hands-on SEO experience.
Good understanding of Shopify and eCommerce website structure.
Knowledge of eCommerce SEO and D2C brand growth strategies.
Familiarity with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, GA4, Google Search Console and Screaming Frog.
Understanding of GEO and AI search optimization concepts.
Basic understanding of HTML, schema, indexing and technical SEO concepts.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Candidate
Experience working with fashion, lifestyle, beauty or D2C eCommerce brands.
Understanding of user behavior, CRO basics and organic revenue growth.
Passionate about AI search evolution and organic marketing.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or related field.
