Roles and Responsibilities:
The Salesforce Project Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of Salesforce solutions — ensuring successful implementation, integration, and adoption across business units. The role demands strong expertise in CRM transformation, agile project management, and stakeholder engagement, along with a deep understanding of Salesforce capabilities and ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery
Own the full lifecycle of Salesforce implementation projects — from initiation through deployment and support.
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
Manage risks, dependencies, and project budgets.
Oversee sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and release cycles (Agile/Scrum or hybrid).
Ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with business goals and Salesforce best practices.
Stakeholder & Client Management
Act as the main point of contact between business users, IT teams, and Salesforce partners.
Translate business requirements into technical and functional designs.
Manage client expectations, communicate status reports, and lead governance meetings.
Drive user adoption and change management activities.
Technical & Functional Coordination
Work closely with Salesforce Architects, Developers, Admins, and QA teams.
Oversee configuration, customization, and integration with other enterprise systems (ERP, middleware, analytics).
Validate solution design and perform quality reviews before deployment.
Governance & Reporting
Maintain project documentation — RAID logs, project plans, dashboards, and retrospectives.
Track KPIs such as delivery timelines, defect rates, budget variance, and customer satisfaction.
Provide executive-level reports and insights for leadership and steering committees.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent.
Managing Salesforce CRM projects(Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.).
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and integration patterns.
Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent stakeholder communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Salesforce Dev Ops Center, or Copado.
Preferred Certifications
Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201)
Salesforce Platform App Builder
Salesforce Service or Sales Cloud Consultant
PMP / PRINCE2 / Certified Scrum Master
