Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced AWS / Multi-Cloud Presales Consultant to join our presales team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud presales, customer engagement, solution positioning, RFP/RFI responses, proposal development and technical presentations, with a strong understanding of AWS and exposure to other cloud platforms.
The candidate should be able to understand customer business requirements, collaborate with sales and technical teams, and translate requirements into compelling cloud solutions and proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Sales/BD team to understand customer requirements and identify appropriate AWS/cloud solutions.
• Participate in customer discovery calls, requirement-gathering sessions and technical discussions.
• Prepare and present AWS and multi-cloud solution proposals aligned with customer business needs.
• Lead RFP/RFI responses, technical proposals, solution presentations and demonstrations.
• Develop solution approaches, scope, assumptions, effort estimates and BoM/commercial inputs in coordination with delivery teams.
• Prepare AWS pricing and cost estimates, including TCO/business-value considerations.
• Conduct customer-facing product/solution demos, presentations and workshops.
• Articulate the business value and technical benefits of AWS, cloud migration, modernization and Dev Ops solutions.
• Collaborate with AWS/cloud delivery teams to validate proposed solutions and ensure feasibility.
• Support Sales teams throughout the opportunity lifecycle, from qualification to proposal submission and closure.
• Create compelling presentations, solution documents, capability decks and responses tailored to customer requirements.
• Identify opportunities for upselling/cross-selling AWS, Dev Ops, cloud migration and managed services.
• Maintain knowledge of AWS services, cloud trends, competitive offerings and customer use cases.
• Support account teams in responding to technical/commercial queries during the sales cycle.
• Ensure smooth handover of won opportunities to the Delivery team.
Mandatory
Skills:
• 5–8 years of experience in IT Presales / Solution Presales / Technical Presales / Cloud Presales.
• Strong experience in AWS Presales.
• Hands-on experience in RFP/RFI/RFQ response preparation and proposal development.
• Strong customer-facing and presentation skills.
• Experience in conducting technical presentations, solution demonstrations and workshops.
• Good understanding of AWS services and cloud solutions.
• Experience in preparing BoM, effort estimates, AWS pricing and commercial inputs.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into appropriate technology solutions.
• Strong coordination skills with Sales, Delivery and technical teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good to Have:
• Exposure to Azure and/or GCP.
• Understanding of Dev Ops, CI/CD, Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience in cloud migration and modernization offerings.
• Experience working with an AWS Partner, Cloud Service Provider, IT Services company or System Integrator.
• AWS certification would be an advantage.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers across India, APAC, Middle East or US markets.
