Position: Translation Coordinator - Translation support for Instruction Manuals 1 1
Your Role
Interact with stakeholders around the world in Marketing, Sales, Legal and other departments requiring support with their translation needs.
Support to document translations of design drawings, Engineering specifications, technical manuals, data sheets.
Create and manage implementation roadmaps and plans for the translation projects.
Translation review of the translations of instruction manual, technical documents content from English to languages like Russian/Dutch/Italian/Portuguese etc.
Maintain word glossaries, style guides and translation memories records.
Manage end to end solution development involving other team members, internal and external stakeholders
Contribute to the development of various learning material eLearning in support of enterprise collaboration platforms and solutions
Prepare necessary reports to keep product development and achievements visible
Contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery
Excellent communication and engagement skills, including providing advice to team members, management and clients, and engaging with stakeholders.
To succeed, you will need
Technical Proficiency:
Demonstrated expertise in translating technical documents, particularly in specialized fields such as IT or engineering.
CAT Tools Familiarity:
Proven experience with Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools to enhance translation accuracy and efficiency.
Communication

Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
Proactivity:
Ability to anticipate project needs and address issues before they escalate, ensuring smooth project execution.
Client Management:
Experience in handling critical clients with tact and professionalism, thereby fostering long-term relationships.
Negotiation

Skills:

Proficiency in cost negotiations to optimize translation project budgets while maintaining quality.
Technical Software Knowledge:
Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for project tracking and reporting purposes.
Attention to Detail:
Strong focus on accuracy and clarity in translations to meet technical requirements and client satisfaction.
Team

Collaboration:

Experience working in multidisciplinary teams to facilitate seamless project integration and execution.
Skills Required
Basic awareness of MS office
Knowledge of software and manufacturing concepts and terminology
Specialised vocabulary in both English and foreign language related to manufacturing products.
Educational requirements
Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Communication / Language Studies/ Linguistics/ Foreign Languages
Broad understanding of compressors or similar products are preferred.
Experience translating content for European market preferred
Language Expertise:
Proficiency in below languages to broaden the scope of translation and translation review services offered.

Personality requirements
Be comfortable working one-on-one in 'in-person proofreading sessions' and reporting issues per our best practice
Learn and apply some basic HTML 'tagging' to translation (training provided)
Manage all project tasks on a daily basis to ensure successful and efficient project completion in a 'multi-tasking' and time-sensitive environment
Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma with  5-9 years of experience  developing literature reviews/synthesis
Experience in developing literature reviews/syntheses
