Procurement Compliance Specialist
Job Description & How to Apply Below
We are an AI company building tools for supply chain compliance and third-party risk management in manufacturing and retail industries. Our AI assesses supplier risk, screens vendors against sanctions lists, checks import/export classification, and flags ESG compliance gaps. We need people who have personally run supplier assessments, managed trade compliance programmes, or conducted supply chain audits — and can tell us from real procurement experience what the AI should be doing differently.
WORKFLOWS COVERED
Supplier qualification and compliance assessment — financial health, quality standards, ethical sourcing, regulatory compliance
Trade compliance — import/export classification (HS codes, ECCN), export control (ITAR, EAR), sanctions screening (OFAC, EU, UN)
Third-party risk management — risk scoring, due diligence documentation, ongoing monitoring
ESG and ethical sourcing audits — environmental standards, forced labour checks, carbon footprint reporting
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Share how supply chain compliance and trade risk management work in practice — supplier assessment, trade classification, sanctions screening, and ESG audit processes
Review compliance frameworks, risk scoring methodologies, or supplier assessment outputs and tell us where they miss what a real procurement or trade compliance professional would catch
Help us understand how trade regulations — export controls, sanctions regimes, customs requirements — apply in real supply chain decisions, not just in policy documents
Advise on what good supply chain compliance operations look like and where common gaps arise in third-party risk and trade compliance programmes
YOU ARE THE RIGHT FIT IF
Minimum 3 years in supply chain compliance, trade compliance, or third-party risk — in a real procurement or supply chain function, not purely consulting
Have personally conducted supplier audits, classified goods for export, screened against OFAC or UN sanctions lists, or assessed supplier ESG risk
Know your trade regulations — ITAR, EAR, Incoterms, EU dual-use, or DGFT/Indian customs regulations — from applying them in real transactions, not just studying them
Worked in manufacturing (automotive, electronics, FMCG), retail, or a compliance consulting firm handling supply chain clients
NICE TO HAVE
Licensed Customs Broker or Certified Customs Specialist (CCS)
CTPAT authorised or AEO certified organisation experience
ISO 28000 (Supply Chain Security) or SA8000 (Social Accountability) experience from implementing them
*** Pay - 2,000 – 3,000 per hour
