The Supply Base Manager is responsible for developing and managing a high-performing supplier and logistics network to support business objectives. This role focuses on strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and performance optimization across 3PL partners, transporters, and warehouse operations. The position acts as a key link between procurement, operations, logistics, and external partners to ensure cost efficiency, service excellence, and supply chain reliability.

Monitor supplier performance through KPIs (quality, delive

Develop and execute sourcing strategies for 3PL partners (transport, warehousing, distributi
on).Manage relationships with key 3PL partners to ensure consistent service delivery and continuous improvem
ent.
Define and track supplier KPIs such as OTIF (On-Time In-Full), transit time, cost per shipment, and damage ra
tes.
Strong understanding of 3PL operations, freight management, and warehous
ing.
Knowledge of transportation modes (air, sea) and network optimizat
ion.
Supplier relationship management and stakeholder coordinat
ion.
Qualifica
tions
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration (BBA), Commerce (B. Com), or a related
field.
15+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or Vendor Manag
ement.
Proven experience in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), 3PL management, and logistics opera
tions.
Strong exposure to freight management, transportation (air, sea), warehousing, and distribution net
works.
Experience in supplier performance monitoring, KPI management (OTIF, lead time, cost), and continuous improvement initia
tives.
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and procurement
tools.
