CNC Lead

The CNC Lead will oversee the complete CNC machining line at Gigaforge, ensuring smooth production, strong technical control, quality assurance, and coordination with casting suppliers. This role requires hands-on technical expertise in CNC machining along with the ability to manage day-to-day operations, production planning, and in-process quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee end-to-end CNC machining line, including daily operations, job allocation, and meeting production targets.

Handle all technical aspects of CNC machining—tooling, offsets, parameters, fixture setup, troubleshooting, and cycle-time optimization.

Ensure in-process and final quality checks, first-piece approval, and root-cause correction of machining defects.

Manage production planning (PPC), track WIP, maintain reports, and ensure timely job completion.

Coordinate with casting suppliers for material availability, incoming quality, and resolving casting-related issues.

Maintain machining documentation—process sheets, inspection logs, tool life records—and ensure adherence to SOPs and safety.

Monitor machine health and coordinate for preventive maintenance to ensure uptime.
