Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for an Assistant Badminton Coach located in Pune. The Assistant Coach will work closely with the head coach to plan and execute training sessions, assist with skill-building drills, and provide guidance to players during practice and matches. The role involves ensuring player safety, fostering sportsmanship, and motivating athletes to develop their technical skills and game strategies.

Qualifications

Proficient badminton-playing skills, with a sound understanding of game techniques and strategies
Coaching skills, including the ability to plan and conduct effective training sessions, and guide players to improve their performance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively motivate and mentor players
Experience working with players of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced
Knowledge of fitness training, injury prevention, and sports psychology is an advantage
A passion for badminton and commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team environment
Relevant certifications or experience in badminton coaching preferred
