SCIENCE LAB ASSISTANT - SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT

1 year (Jan-Dec 2027), with option to extend

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:30am-2:00pm (30-min lunch break)

We are looking for an experienced Science Lab Assistant to support the smooth and safe operation of the school's Science laboratories.

• Prepare resources and equipment for Science lessons and experiments
• Assist teachers with laboratory resources during lessons
• Maintain records of lab usage, resources and activities
• Conduct inventory checks and ensure equipment and resources are adequately stocked
• Assist in maintaining the school garden and hydroponics system
• Conduct safety checks and ensure laboratory safety procedures are followed
• Work closely with the Head of Department and Level Head Science

• Minimum GCE 'O' Level
• At least 3 years of experience as a Science Lab Assistant in a school environment
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and support teachers and students effectively

Monday to Friday: 7:30am-2:00pm, with 30-minute lunch break

Service is also required during selected school holidays:

• March holidays - 2 days
• June holidays - 6 days
• September holidays - 2 days
• December holidays - 6 days

No service required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays, or other school holidays/days when the school is not operating, except for the specified dates above.
